sound devices 8 series with Park's tool

If you have sound devices 883 and you want to control trim, gain, control on channel 7 to 12. All my devices are capable of doing that feature. Here's the instruction.

meanwhile you can set it manually,

for example, let's say you have 833 device and you want to make it as

7/8/9/10 trim and 7/8/9/10 fader, please set your device as followed image

I would use it with a Sound Devices 8 series field recorder. These use the Mackie control protocol for 3rd party controllers. I would map the knobs to be used for input trim for channels which do not have physical gain controls. For example, my field recorder is capable of recording more channels than it has physical controls for. It has physical controls for 6 channels, but is capable of recording up to 12 channels. Without a USB midi controller on the Mackie control protocol, you must go into the menu and adjust the gain from there. I would map these knobs to control the gain on channels 7-12 .
It would be amazing. I've been looking everywhere for something this small that can do that

FADER, TRIM control for channels 7, 8, 9 and 10

If you want to control Fader for channels 7-10, you can use 4P. If you plug the devices and open the web configuration tool, you will see there're preset buttons.

You don't have to change anything but just press the button.

Once you set the devices as the feature, you can install the 4P into your Sound Devices 833. Plug the devices and wait ~20 seconds so they can communicate. After 20 seconds, You can control channel 7,8,9 and 10 with the dial 4P

If you want to control Fader for channels 7-12, you can use either 8P, 8F or 8E. If you plug the devices and open the web configuration tool, you will see there're preset buttons.

You don't have to change anything but just press the button.

Once you set the devices as the feature, you can install the 8P into your Sound Devices 833. Plug the device and wait ~20 seconds so they can communicate.
