Firmware Update
At Park's Tool, we make it easy for you to keep your device up-to-date by allowing you to update the firmware on your own. To update your dial, simply download the relevant firmware files and execute the 'uploader_windows.bat' file on a Windows machine or the 'uploader_mac' file on a Mac machine.
However, it's important to note that updating the firmware may result in the loss of your device's configuration settings, so you may need to re-configure the firmware after completing the update process. We recommend taking note of your device's configuration settings before initiating the firmware update to ensure that you can easily restore them if needed
How to update firmware (Windows and Mac)
Step 1. Download the firmware file

Naming convention
Just a quick note: the firmware files required for updating your device may vary depending on the type of device you have. To ensure that you download the correct firmware files, please follow this naming convention:
'P' potentiometers,
'E' encoders,
'K' keys.
For example, if your device has 16 potentiometers and 4 keys, the product name will start with 16P4K-. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll be happy to help."
Step 2. Unzip and execute updater
For windows
For Mac
download file and unzip it
You will see there's another zip file. please unzip that as well
inside the zip file, there's "uploader_mac"
right click on that file and open with Terminal
click open

IMPORTANT! re configuration needed!
You need to re-configure the device after you update the firmware.
Troubleshooting
Q. Device is not responding
Before you start using any USB-based functions with your device, it's important to check the USB cable you're using. Please note that some USB cables may only be intended for charging purposes and may not be compatible with other device functions. If you try to use a charge-only cable for device functions other than charging, it may not work properly. To ensure that your device functions correctly, we advise you to carefully examine your USB cable before initiating any USB-based functions.
Also, USB C to C is not working with the device. Please use USB A to C or A to micro.
Q: Nothing happened (Windows)
A: Download drivers.zip, Run dpinst-x64.exe
